$2 Tuesdays Collaborations

A great deal on a great product is always a hit. And when it means growing your email with paying customers, it’s a win-win all the way. 

My first job was working in a movie theatre. It was great. All the movies I could watch, all the popcorn I could eat and all the pop I could drink. It was the perfect first job.

Then, I switched jobs and all those perks disappeared.

A few years later, $2 Tuesdays was born. When I did the research for this, it seems that $2 Tuesdays originated in my hometown (who knew?) in 1983.

Every Tuesday, all day, every movie was only $2.00. It was wonderful and all of a sudden, Tuesdays became almost as popular as the weekends for movies (when the movies cost more that $3).

This memory was the inspiration behind the $2 Tuesday Collaboration.

👥 What is the $2 Tuesday Collab?

This where you’re not just in a bundle…
You’re in your own mini bundle all by yourself.

This is a fun, relatively low-effort collab with a few amazing entrepreneurs.

The collab is called $2 Tuesdays and the idea is that during the month a group of 5 entrepreneurs will promote each other

Each of us discounts an offer to $2 and gets a week to be featured, and in return we:
• Send 1 email featuring that week’s promo
• Post once on social
• Support each other’s content (a quick comment or share)

What You Need to Do to Participate

Each collaborator agrees to do the following:

• Offer a paid product for only $2 for 1 week during the month. Each collaborator is assigned 1 week (Tuesday to Monday) during the month.
• Give access to the product at least one week before the end of the previous month to other contributors so they can honestly talk about the product. 
• Add other contributors as affiliates (I have a workaround if you don’t have an affiliate program).
• Send an email each Tuesday that prominently features that week’s featured offer. You are encouraged to mention it in another email if you send other emails each week.
• Post a social post each Tuesday for that week’s featured offer.
• Engage with other people’s posts.
